Next to last day of the challenge! I originally planned on making each finger a different type of crop, but I was really in the mood for something a little classier today. So I went with some greens and golds :)
The base is Revlon Beach. The glitter is Sinful Colors Call You Later, and the sweeping color is China Glaze Agro! I thought it needed a little something more, so I split the two sections with some gold striping tape.
I actually took a lot more pictures, but I really don't think any of them capture how pretty this looks. Here's the best couple.

Fall into Autumn Challenge: Autumn Dots
I'm almost done with the Fall into Autumn Challenge! I've been trying to make a dot gradient work for a while now. I used this Chalkboard Nails tutorial and I think this is my best attempt yet!
I used China Glaze Sunset Sail as the base with OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys and Playboy green for the dots.
I took some pictures before adding the brown dots, juuust in case I messed everything up horribly.
I obviously thought my thumb looked the coolest.

Fall into Autumn Challenge: Favorite Sweater
The next theme of the Fall into Autumn Challenge is to do a mani of your favorite sweater. Sadly, I live in Texas and almost never get to wear sweaters. It's November, and it's still 85 degrees outside right now. *sigh* Nevertheless, I DO have a favorite sweater! I only get to wear it when I go visit my grandparents in Illinois for Christmas.
Then I added some white striping tape to finish it off!
I started off with a couple layers of China Glaze Agro.

Fall Into Autumn Challenge: Smokey Gradient
This is my first attempt at a pretty sweet tutorial by Neverland Nail Blog. I'm going to have to practice a little more to that it'll look as awesome as hers, but I think this is a fair attempt. I used China Glaze Dress Me Up, Below Deck, and OPI Vampsterdam for my three colors.

Fall Into Autumn Challenge: Halloween
Did anyone else watch the debate tonight? I felt like I had to watch, even though I usually can't stand these things. But I'm actually glad that I watched! I won't go into detail, since it's snoozeville to discuss. Instead I will show you some sweet nails.
Today's challenge theme is Halloween! I actually plan on doing a bunch more Halloween nails, so these ones aren't too intricate. I just needed something to get me through the debates (90 minutes). I finished with 2 minutes left!
I got a bunch of new polishes, and I used one of them today! This is from the OPI Holland collection - A Roll In The Hague.
Then I slapped on some spiderweb stamps! This is the first time I've used this stamp, so I'm not an uber pro. But they turned out pretty well. Next time I'll see if I can avoid the random tears..
I don't usually show my right hand (since it always looks like crap) but today I tried out another one of my new polishes that I kinda think goes along with the Halloween theme! First I used a (sloppy) layer of OPI Did It On Em because I was worried that the other polish wouldn't show up very well. You'll see why.
My other new polish is Morning After by 2 Chix Lacquer. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally like this color for some reason. It looks like fizzy beer puke! Why do I love this? Maybe because I've experienced a lot of fizzy beer puke in my life? Next time I want to skip the bottom color..? It made it look lighter than I wanted. And the little green pukes didn't show up very well. Maybe a darker green?
Ya see the fizzy beer pukes? Yup.

Fall Into Autumn Challenge: Pumpkins
Jesus marimba. I've been out of town for almost a full week now. I spent a few days in Austin doing recruiting for work. I got to stay in a sweet hotel and eat at tons of places I never could afford before. But it wasn't all fun and games. I stood and talked to approximately one zillion people for 10+ hours a day. My feet were killing me and I nearly lost my voice, but it was still fun!
After Austin, I headed down to San Antonio to visit Laura and go see Looper. I thought this movie was pretty amazing, but it is not for the faint of heart - or weak of stomach. Bruce was great, as usual. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt was wunderbar, even though the crazy Bruce makeup was a little weird.
My final destination on this whirlwind adventure was to go visit my sister in College Station. She got us tickets to the A&M vs. Arkansas game, which was an interesting experience. It rained pretty much the entire time... which was a little miserable. Overall, this has been a pretty great week, but I'm super excited to be back home... and paint my nails!!
Here's a couple more action shots. It was kinda hard to keep the glare off of the pumpkins and show that there was a glare already painted on.
In other news, Once Upon A Time comes back in ONE MINUTE, and I may have a panic attack I'm so excited.
