Zig-Zag Nails

I've spent nearly the entire weekend cleaning my apartment and watching old movies. [Currently watching Ben-Hur. What a weirdo.] Anyways, since this is a four hour movie, I decided that I should probably do something awesome with my nails. I've done zig-zag stuff before, but I've never really tried more than 2 colors. I was GOING to attempt 4, but decided I should attempt 3 first.

Base coat: Essie - Turquoise & Caicos
Then I picked two colors that would go along with my pretty blue. I almost didn't want to, but then I manned up.

I taped off various sections, alternating colors and direction. I think it came out pretty well!

Blue: Pure Ice  - Strapless, Grey: Anise - Dangerous Lover

I need to figure out how to stop trapping tiny bubbles. Ah well. One day!

  2. lol Ben-Hur is a book, which was made into a movie in 1959 (starring Charlton Heston). The plot is sorta similar to Gladiator in that a Jewish dude is wrongfully accused of a crime by a guy he grew up with, goes of, lives a shitty life, comes back as someone famous, and attempts revenge. but with a religious twist, because it's set during the Roman times, so he meets Jesus and whatnot. I wonder if the street was named after the book!
