October Polish Days [Sentimental] - The Muppets

I'm attempting to get involved in more nail communities! One event that sounds pretty cool is Polish Days hosted by Polly Polish! This month's theme is "Sentimental." I had a hard time thinking about what would be a good sentimental thing I could paint.... My parents are building a new house, which means that I have to finally get all of my crap out of their house! After house of digging through really old, dusty junk, I came across a bunch of Muppets stuff. I used to LOVE the Muppets. I'm pretty sure I watched The Muppet Move and The Great Muppet Caper at least one hundred times each. As my sentimental item of the month, I present to you - The Muppets!

I picked a few of my favorite characters: Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy, and Beaker. Hopefully you can tell who is who... As I've explained before, my freehand painting is not that great. But practice makes perfect, I guess. Or maybe bigger nails..?

I started off with some of the glitters from OPI's Muppets collection - Fresh Frog of Bel Air, Excuse Moi, Gone Gonzo, and Divine Swine. Rainbow Connection is on my thumb :)

I won't list out all of the colors I used to paint the characters (waaaay too many). These guys got a little smeary with the topcoat *sigh*. I think they turned out pretty well... They look like 5 year old me painted them, but my painting skills haven't progressed much since then so I guess it's to be expected.
